Coopers' batting track saw an amazing win for Stonor on Saturday. The home side were always looking to score quickly

against Stonor's nine fielders and it took some fine spin bowling from Dan Fennell and Olly Nicholson, plus well-held catches

to keep the total below 200. Knight and Wallis were the pick of the batsmen, both scoring in rapid time after Lunn had laid

the foundations.

Stonor were under pressure straight after tea when Martin Fennell was dismissed with the first ball of the visitor's reply.

After 12 overs the tight bowling had restricted the total to 13-2 and with 25 overs remaining Stonor needed almost eight

runs an over when Nicholson joined Prabhu at the crease.

Coopers then elected to rotate the bowling in search of wickets, allowing the Stonor pair to set to work. The two put together

a match-winning 160-run partnership. Prabhu supporting well with a solid 38, Nicholson hitting his maiden century including

11 fours and 11 sixes to remain unbeaten on 144. Stonor went on to win with an over to spare.
